If you haven’t already been to one of our Supper Clubs, (which have until now only been in Sydney, so you probably haven’t) then NOW would be the time to get involved if you’re near London. Not only is the food going to blow your spicy, gastronomical mind, but this series if for an incredible cause!
The series is called ‘Pangaea People’* and the concept is very simple, basically we choose a different charitable humanitarian or environmental cause, then we cook a menu inspired by that country for your pure enjoyment, then (here’s the best part) ALL proceeds go directly to that chosen charity. We know Londoners have more heart than people give them credit for so we’re hoping that the series will continue on throughout the year and into 2017 – after all they say a way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, so it makes sense to us to open our hearts and give to those in need through eating.
For the ticket price you will get a 3 course sharing menu (although you get dessert all of your very own, because obvs) plus a delicious cocktail on arrival AND remember ALL the proceeds go to Hand in Hand for Syria, who work delivering aid on the front line of Syria.
We are very exited to have some big name collaborators in mind for this series… but all will be revealed on the night.
*WHY PANGAEA PEOPLE? The name Pangaea was the the name given to all earth’s land masses the before the earths tectonic plates moved (and drifted all the countries apart to make the continents we now know). On this “supercontinent” the countries lived nestled in together as one big snuggly world without borders. So essentially we are all people of ‘Pangaea’, we are people of this planet, earthlings and humans. Without this segregation we are all the same, and through this series we attempt to ‘reverse the drift‘ to bring us all back together, supporting one another, and the earth.
We created Farm to Face because we know that the food we eat has a huge impact on our health and wellbeing, and on the planet! We’re inspiring people to live waste free and eat for the future by choosing local, seasonal and ethical foods.
